Felt completely blah about a product that had been raved otherwise? Don’t you dare feel alone because I am with you. Especially if you are talking about NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. I was underwhelmed and it left me wondering, is that it, really? I mean, don’t get me wrong, I don’t think it is a completely disappointing product by any mean, but it is not exactly what it is played out to be.
First off, I would like to share what I love about it; it is opaque in coverage and I found the exact match to counter my dark circles. It is also creamy and blends well. I have to applaud NARS for being inclusive when it comes to foundation and concealer shades – I almost always find my exact match and it is almost always coded as Medium Dark 1, along with a coinciding name, Biscuit, in this case. Also, the coverage is opaque, enough to counter my dark circles and NARS has made the adequate the effort to include the balance of both pink and yellow undertones for dark circles. Good job!
However, I do hate how it accentuates my fine lines. Especially when it claims to ease the visibility of fine lines. I just can not. I mean it is not unbearable, but not exactly prettifying, is it? I expected more from NARS and did not expect a liquid concealer to dry up my under eye imperfections. I don’t love, sorry!
I’m not even smiling yet, the imperfections around my eyes are enhanced
