A flick of the hips and a knowing gaze…
I had long been wanting to try the perfume which was inspired by the two waitresses who seduced their boss’s son-in-law with subtle sway of their bodies and the look in their eyes. I mean hello, who the heck wouldn’t? It sounds like this perfume has magical powers!
Sikkim Girls Perfume ($19.55/ 9mL) will seduce you; if you love yourself a smoky floral, considered yourself owned! Me being a huge jasmine aficionado that I am, just loved the very thought of it. It is not, however, your typical sweet, docile jasmine scent. It is that innocent, docile jasmine smoking something funny. More sexy, amirite? Sure, it is sweet, but it is also spicy; not your average floral! The spicy kick is somewhat similar to the hazy, cool effect of liquorice. Other major influences are frangipani, vanilla & tuberose.
Sikkim Girls Hand and Body Lotion ($29.95) is a thick lotion inspired by its namesake perfume. Notice and focus on the inspired part. Though similar to the perfume, it is not identical. Sure, it is still very much has a smoky floral base, but it is also, smoother – I blame the Darjeeling black tea and chocolate infusion. Truth be told, it is a marriage of the perfume & Lush’s Charity Pot in a thicker consistency. It is very, very condensed, falling just short of a body butter. And yes, the rumours are true, a little does indeed go a long way. But it is not your everyday lotion, it is too sexy for that. So while moisturizing, it is mainly a perfumed, special occasion lotion.
