Illamasqua Lipstick in Magnetism has me succumbing to it.

Hello everybody, I am back! Hallelujah! Now, if you followed me on twitter, I did (falsely!) announce that I’d be back to the big, bad world of beauty blogs by the weekend. Well, I lied so let’s just get over it, ok? :)

I’m back with a lipstick which I’m truly in love with. Why? Because like me, it is one part vampy, one part bright and one part intense. Ok, depending upon your opinion on me you may or may not agree, but it certainly does hold true for the lipstick in question here. I’m someone who is scared the bejeezuz out of her nightmares when it comes to rocking the vampy lip trend. I think its mostly just not for me, its too overwhelming for my face, but this one has a certain cheerful undertone to it that saves it from looking too forced on my  (tiny) face. I realize that Christmas is staring at us and fall is long gone and I am about two months late with this review, but since the vampy lip is here to stay, therefore we can conclude, it is still relevant to talk about!

The cherry on cake remains that unlike the rest of Illamasqua’s lipsticks, it is not drying at all. When it comes to application, it glides effortlessly – almost as if it is a balm-stick of sorts! I really love the intense colour pay off and above average longevity (about 4 hours, easily!) Good job on this one, Illamasqua! I hope they reformulate all their lipsticks similar to this one when it comes to easy gliding quality!
