Say Au-Revoir to dark circles with Clinique’s Even Better Eyes Dark Circle Corrector

I’ll be honest, I have always been sceptical of Clinique’s eye creams. The famous All About Eyes cream – it just didn’t work for me. So when Clinique’s Even Better Eyes Dark Circle Corrector ($39.50) arrived at my door step, I was ready to take it with a grain of salt. Much to my disdain, this one blew me out of the water. It just worked. It really did.

So yeah, long story short – it worked for me. Let me elaborate on why/how exactly does this magic wand for eyes operates. For one, the packaging is genius – why no one else in the industry thought of such packaging for eye creams is something that keeps me up all night (no, just kidding!). The roller ball like applicator cools and calms down puffy eyes. I have really puffy eyes in the morning and that is the reason I appreciate the packaging so much. Moreover, the product stays fresh and its properties remain unspoiled because of lack of bacteria mingling.
The eye cream is a tinted beige liquid which gets absorbed in the skin fairly quickly. Before I divulge into the long term benefits of the cream, let me tell you the short term benefits are no less. It is the bff of make up of the concealer variety. As you put it on, there is instant brightening of the under eye area because of the tinted property of the cream. It also blends concealers without any effort. Sure, it makes a great skincare product for the lay women, but it will prove equally popular with the make-up artists.

As for the longer term properties, I have seen drastic improvements in my under eye skin. The dark circles have lightened quite a lot despite the lack of sleep, inadequate fluid intake and junk food based diet this past month. It is only marketed as a dark circle corrector, but my under eye skin felt quite hydrated with just this on.
The summary? Well, yes, it is a fantastic product. It calms down puffy eyes, glides down concealer with optimal ease and does what it said it would – correct those dreaded dark circles. With just 20 days of regular use, this one is working its magic already. I recommend.

This actually looks really great–I’ve always been curious about those cooling tips, and the one on this one is especially cool-looking! (no pun intended!) I do wish it were more targeted towards hydrating though–I know you said it leaves your undereyes feeling hydrated, but unless it specifially says it will hydrate as well, I wouldn’t trust it to…and hydrating my undereyes is my main concern at the moment

it looks quite promising although the packaging is similar to the Estee Lauder De puffing illuminator. I will faint if the formula is same too. Their Even Better Range has always shown wonders and I hope this one would do too. waiting for it to launch in India.
Btw how have u been?

Ahh, I hope it launches soon because I know Indians have such a problem with dark circles. Chubby sticks have really nice shades – I’m so behind on reviewing those maybe I’ll do them in two parts thanks for reminding.
