Lancôme La Vie Est Belle Fragrance (to be launched August 2012) is the one for you if you like a sophisticated, feminine scent. I, for one, had fallen for it at the first sniff. The fragrance is a soothing cocktail of Patchouli, Iris Pallida, Sambac Jasmine, Orange Blossom  Flower and Gourmand Accord. For me, it translates into a classic day time fragrance.

What drew me to this fragrance is that sure, it is sweet and floral, but it is extremely docile and soothing simultaneously. It is not a fragrance that is detectable 10 feet away from you, so that means you will not be avoided by those sensitive noses. The packaging is statuesque with minimal distractions on it. That doesn’t not mean, however, that it is boring. It is tailored to represent just that – no nonsense femininity. The detail of the organza bow is definitely a nice addition.

Overall thoughts: If you love a docile, feminine, floral scent – this sure is your cup of tea. For me it makes  an indulgent day time fragrance.
