Annabelle‘s latest offering, the Aqua Queen collection, is made up of the Biggy Bronzer & the Hawaiian Hues Eyeshadow Palette. The palette is made of 10 gorgeous array of shades ranging from neutrals to pastels to brights. At $12.95, it comes down to about $1.3 per shadow, which is kind of a sweet deal, right?

Though the colours are gorgeous, without primer these are nothing spectacular.  These eyeshadows only work if you have a solid primer in your stash. With a primer, these are quite good, actually. Pigmentation is also decent, but only comes off well with a primer. Other than that, I really enjoy having all the possible shades that I could need in a palette. I especially adore the brights of teal and sea green. The shadows are neither to powdery and with the exception of purple and lavender grey, not chalky either.

Overall thoughts: If you have a solid primer in your stash, this is a worthy palette to indulge in this summer. At $12.95, you can’t go much wrong.

Overall rating: B
