It is no secret that I am a big fan of Maybelline Color Tattoo Cream Eyeshadows– these are some of the best drug store products out there. I love the shade range (though, I would love to see it expand) and how they work. Today, I have a review of two more shades that I recently added to my stash.
Tenacious Teal is a gorgeous bluish teal with a metallic sheen to it. It is one of the best working eyeshadows I have, period. The colour pay off is phenomenal and it blends it so beautifully with other eyeshadows (My eyeshadow of choice to work with this one is Too Faced Label Whore or MAC Club). I highly recommend this one if you love your bold, colourful eyes.
Overall Rating: A+
Bold Gold is a shimmery gold. Since I am in love with every other eyeshadow from this range I had tried so far, I had high expectations from this one too. Don’t get me wrong, this is not a bad product or anything like that, but it falls a tad short when compared to the rest in the lot. What irks me is that the shimmer in this thing causes a bit of a fall out and this rubs easier in comparison with others too. Otherwise it is a decent product, but it has room for improvement.
Overall rating: B+
I also did an eye look with Tenacious Teal & Too Faced Label Whore. Take a look for yourself and let me know what you think.
Also, if you haven’t already, please read the review of three other Maybelline Colour Tattoo Eyeshadows here. Something personal is keeping me busy this month, sorry if I may not blog regularly, but I will have a review of YSL’s summer collection up in a few days, so watch out for that!
