With the weather warming up, it called for a happy coral rush, now didn’t it? The weather has been surprisingly bearable in Vancouver lately. No, don’t get me wrong, it is still raining – it always is. But it is not your everyday bitter cold rain, it is the prefect 12 degree rains, which doesn’t come back to bite you. Now this is turning into a weather report, so I best stop now. Anyways, so I get my happy coral (ish) rush from Benefit Cha Cha Tint ($36 Cdn)- a perfect mango-tinted stain.
I’m a big fan girl of Benefit’s Posie-tint and a mango version of it obviously had my name on it. Now, after acquiring this, I sit all day debating which one I love more – ok, not really – but hopefully you get the point 😉 I really, really love the subtle coral and slightly orange tint – it fits my NC35/40 skin tone to a “t”.
I can see it suiting a wide array of skin-tones – but will especially look spectacular against warmer skin. It blends right in with the skin, with no problems and the coverage is quite buildable. It lasts reasonably long, about 4 to 5 hours, but the only grime is the packaging. I love the look of it, but it makes the product a bit hard to work with. It is not impossible, but just not the most functional. Here is how it looks on me…
Overall thoughts: I simply adore Benefit Cha Cha Tint – it is super flattering and gives your face the whole happy, hello, its spring, finally vibe! The packaging is not the best, but not quite a deal breaker. I recommend!
