Lancôme’s Summer 2012 Collection is tailored specifically towards the Canadian market. The French giant collaborated with Canadian artist, Corno, to come up with a very special collection. As it is obvious from the picture, I will be talking about the very pink blush from this collection, Blush Subtil in Cosmopolitan Pink ($38 Cdn).
Forget BS brightening skin care which never actually works, try a brightening lipstick? Yes, you heard me right! Seriously, this is fail-safe for me! Nothing cheers up my face more than a bright, sexy, fun lipstick and MAC Impassioned Lipstick fits the bill to the T.

It may be hard to believe, but yes, I am still around! It has been a while since I last spoke about my skin-care – in fact, I never really have in detail. I recently made some changes to my routine, replaced a few items, and added a new item in. First up is the Origins GinZing Eye Cream – my previous hit in Vasanti Eye Wonder just was not doing it for me any more. I had prevalent dark… Read more »

Illamasqua Box Lipstick (£ 15.50) is one hot babe, in a timeless, classic way, of course! Very aptly described as a deep scarlet red, in a matte finish, this one is something you buy for keeps. It is one of the vampier reds I have, but it still has a playful, slight cherry undertone to it.
With the weather warming up, it called for a happy coral rush, now didn’t it? The weather has been surprisingly bearable in Vancouver lately. No, don’t get me wrong, it is still raining – it always is. But it is not your everyday bitter cold rain, it is the prefect 12 degree rains, which doesn’t come back to bite you. Now this is turning into a weather report, so I best stop now. Anyways, so I get my happy coral… Read more »
Before I start this review, I have to tell you that this is my “it” lipstick for spring. It is just too darn perfect – in every sense of the word, really! I am in love with the colour, the texture and the wear of the formula. Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick in Rose ($24 Cdn) has won me over!

I admit it, I am a Lush Fresh Face Mask slave. I love them and in fact, have tried almost all of them! Even if a face mask didn’t serve to me, it never offended me at any level. But my favorite, however, is Love Lettuce. My skin type is normal, slightly dry and a tad sensitive. Me loves this face mask. Since I am in my early mid-twenties, my only priority is making sure my skin stays in the… Read more »
NARS Luster Blush ($29 Cdn) is my latest obsession. Yeah, I have had this blush for months but it didn’t catch my fancy until right about now. Actually, that’s a lie, when I first bought it, I knew it would fit right in with me in the warmer months. It is just the most gorgeous (now I hope I don’t sound redundant) golden sheen on cheeks. On my cheeks, for the very least!
EOS‘s latest offering in the smooth sphere lip balm ($3.99 Cdn) is in the flavour of summer fruit, just in time for the season. It is moisturizing, but not overly so – just about right. It has a slight sweet, punchy flavour – it is flavourful, but not something that makes you keep applying the balm over and over again. This balms walks the middle line, y’all, just like a perfect buddhist
