Benefit Sun Beam Luminizer ($30 Cdn) is what I (and apparently the company, too) like to call sunshine in the bottle. It is a warm bronze-beige liquid highlighter, which is a must for girls with warmer skin-tones (like yours truly).

What I love about it is that helps give me the whole my skin but better thing. It blends so easily into my skin, leaving it with just a hint of sunny glow. Like the rest of Benefit’s highlighters, it is bling-y and subtle at the same time – I don’t know how they do it!

Sun Beam makes a killer pairing with Benefit Hoola, which happens to be my all time favorite bronzer. But I also see it getting along with corals, bathing suits with poolside margaritas in perfectly sunny 25 degrees Celsius weather. Yeah, meanwhile, in the middle of a snowstorm in Calgary, Alberta, I have Benefit Sun Beam to help me look forward to the summer, which I am sure will happen one of these days…

The packaging is just like Benefit’s Moon Beam and High Beam; a cute bottle resembling a nail polish. It does the job just fine, nothing to complain about but somehow, I am not in love with it.

Overall thoughts: Sun Beam is another stellar highlighter from Benefit. It is perfect for the upcoming summer as it pairs well with bronzers and corals. If you have warm undertones in your skin, you may especially appreciate this one.

Overall Rating: A

I love the colors of both Sun Beam and Moonbeam (wait, that’s a thing, right?) but I have never bothered to check their ingredients to see if I could wear them. I like the look of the new Benefit highlighter, too!
