There are products we just love; regardless of what xyz person may feel about them, but they are holy-grail for us and we use them the most. I have been more or less a minimalist ever since I moved to Vancouver for post graduate. Independence comes with responsibility and that leaves you for very little time to pretty yourself. My favorite basics include LUSH Bubblegum Lip Scrub which is perfect to perfecting that pout. My lips are almost always dry, nearing death and it is my favorite thing to revive them with and tastes nom-nom-nom to boot. I also love Tweezerman’s slanted tweezers, they are the #1 beauty tool for me. If there is a beauty holy book in the world, I am sure this thing has made a name for itself in chapter one. Unruly brows, womanstache, gross chin hair – good bye, au revoir, ciao! MAC Hug Me Lipstick is the perfect everyday lipstick for me, it is a nude, but a very natural one and adds just a bit of gloss and warmth on your lips. Another favorite is MAC Mocha Lipstick, but they are both along the same lines, only Mocha is a tad deeper. I am also loving MAC Smolder Eye Kohl, well I have been for the longest time. It is one of the smoothest, darkest black eyeliner which is perfect for tight-lining. It smudges though, so if you are not into that, you may not love it as much as I do. MAC Peachykeen Blush is a big winner for me, I don’t really see that blush’s name popped up in the blogosphere, but it truly is an underrated one. Medium skin-tones, take notice because this one is fantabulous for any day, anytime, anywhere. Benefit Posietint gives the perfect pink pout, even if you have pigmented lips, I love mine to death. Only recently, I discovered my love for The Body Shop Body Butters, they are fantastic to hydrate dry skin with. I rediscovered my Dior DiorSkin Forever Compact Flawless & Moist Extreme Wear Foundation (it is a powder), I have hit pan on it and am about to finish it, I am so excited because it will be the first product in months years that I would finish. It is absolutely flawless and I will repurchase it because it gives me very natural skin and matches my skintone to a t. Last but not the least, Benefit Girl Meets Pearl is the best highlighter in the universe.

What have you been loving since forever?

I have just bought my first tub of body shop body butter, smells amaaazing. I use the lush lip scrub too, and have the benefit girl meets pearl. I love the collage you’ve made for this, it’s a great post. I will have to think of my holy grail list, I know that Maybelline Dream Matte Powder will be on there though;P

I love Smolder too! It’s one of the best eyeliners I have ever used. I’ve been avoiding fragranced body butters though as my skin is beyond dry and itchy and only the medical grade stuff work for me in winter.

I also like the Lush Lip Scrub – it’s definitely a blessing for people with dry lips like me who have a lot of issues wearing lipstick.

Lately my favourite blush is the Vintage Grape one that came out with MAC’s Daphne Guinness collection. It’s such a nice shade and warms my face up so much more. It really makes me look like I’m smiling even though I’m not.

I’ve never swatched MAC’s Mocha or Hug Me lipsticks. I wonder why :)

Isn’t smolder underrated or what? I think it is the best ever. I don’t feel the need to get feline or UD perversion – this one is best for tightlining your eyes with and that’s how I use eyeliner anyways.
Luckily I don’t have super sensitive skin, thank god. I really love body butters, they smell fantastic :) I’m sorry you can’t use those :(
lol at the blush making you look like you are smiling when you are not :P
I think hug me maybe too light for you…its just enough for me. you should definitely give mocha a go :) will be a good nude on you :) thanks for the comment, i love long, long comments :D
