China Glaze Eye Candy 3-D Glitters Collection is a holiday collection inspired by Marilyn Monroe. Today I will swatch and review the remaining three shades in the collection – Material Girl (Posh pink with holographic bubblegum glitter), Marry A Millionaire (Alluring amethyst with multi-tonal fibers) & Lorelai’s Tiara (Sterling silver with infused blue sparkles).
Material Girl is a posh pink with holographic bubblegum glitter – I own many pink glitter polishes, so this is one of the many, to be honest. It is still beautiful though, but there is no uniqueness to it in my eyes. China Glaze is the cheapest in price, however, in comparison to Spa Ritual and Deborah Lipmann and quality is comparable. The big chunky glitters against the fine glitter sparkle is indeed beautiful. Applies, semi-opaque, but the pay off is two coats is gorgeous as is.
Marry A Millionaire is an alluring amethyst with multi-tonal fibers. It has a fine amethyst coloured glitter as a base and has rainbow coloured fibers on top. It is one of the most unique polishes in the collection and gets a two thumbs (and the rest of the fingers, ha) up from me. Applies semi-opaque in two coats, but that should be the desired finish, anyways.
Lorelai’s Tiara is a sterling silver with infused blue sparkles. Again, it is a drop dead gorgeous combination which had me at hello. Gorgeous colour, highly recommend from this collection. Applies completely opaque in two coats.
Overall thoughts: I loved this collection, if you are a fan of glitter polish, do not miss this one. Must haves according to me are Some Like It Haute, Marry A Millionaire and Lorelai’s Tiara. For Part 1 which contains the review of Some Like It Haute, Love Marilyn & Blonde Bombshell, click here.
