Zoya Jo is the perfect blue, well for me, at least. Not too loud or abrasive but still containing the playfulness of what a blue should have. I had been on a look out for a decent blue polish for the longest, but I would often be met with disappointment in my search. It is a cornflower blue with purple undertones. Applies completely opaque in two coats.

Ok, so this isn’t a top-5, because quite honestly these are all the purple liners in my stash. From Left to Right, Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Ransom,  Korres Eyeliner Pencil in Purple, Sephora Collection Nano Eyeliner in 20 Wild Spirit, MAC Pearlglide Eyeliner in Designer Purple & finally, NYX Jumbo Pencil in Oyster.

Merry Christmas, everyone! Whether you were naughty or nice, I hope Santa gave you lots of blush, lipgloss and eyeshadow. I tried to do a little bit of a festive look with green eyes and red lips. I hope you guys like

Guerlain Rouge Automatique Lipstick ($40) is all sorts of fabulous. The shade I got is Chamade – 164, which is a bright rosy pink. This shade is wearable by almost everyone; from very fair to dark tans. The colour pay off flirts between being opaque, sheer and glossy, so we’ll just call it semi-opaque with a glossy finish. The most impressive thing about this lipstick is that it lits up your face; it is really all you need to look… Read more »

MAC Sumptuous Olive Eyeshadow ($18/ $14 for refill) is a khaki with pearl in a veluxe pearl finish. If you have always been terrified to wear a green, then go for MAC Sumptuous Olive. It is one of the most “neutral” ways to wear a green. A wonderful mix of gold, green with dirty undertones of a brown; hence makes the perfect all weather green. It is the perfect all over lid colour, but to amp it up a bit,… Read more »

China Glaze Eye Candy 3-D Glitters Collection is a holiday collection inspired by Marilyn Monroe. Today I will swatch and review the remaining three shades in the collection – Material Girl (Posh pink with holographic bubblegum glitter), Marry A Millionaire (Alluring amethyst with multi-tonal fibers) & Lorelai’s Tiara (Sterling silver with infused blue sparkles).

Sephora Blockbuster Palette ($59) has every colour under the sun. With 96 eyeshadows, 84 lip glosses, 6 cream eyeliners, 2 eyeliner pencils, 3 blushes, a bronzer and a mascara; it has all your needs covered. Unfortunately, since god blessed me with only two arms, it wasn’t humanly possible for me to swatch every shade. I will, however, give you my views on this palette.

Sephora Mineral Foundation Compact ($26) is what I like to call five seconds to flawless. I had heard one of my favorite youtube gurus, Beautycrush, rave about this compact, so of course I had to poke my nose and figure out what the big deal was for myself. I am happy to testify, that this foundation rocks the socks; no, really, it does!

Lush Bubble Gum Lip Scrub ($8.95) is well, a scrub for your lips which happens to taste fantastic. nom nom nom. My lips, ever since my sickness (ok, it was nothing serious, just a regular attack of pneumonia) were left dry and cranky and in major need of some TLC. I didn’t actually notice it until I realized that I love lipstick, a lot! Testing those lipsticks out made me notice that my lips were not in the best shape… Read more »

A lipgloss that tastes so good that it can replace dessert; good or bad? I am undecided, to be honest! I would be ok if it tasted either sweet or just delicious, but since it is both, it is a lethal combination. For me, Bath & Body Works’ Liplicious Lipgloss in Gingerbread Giggle and Candied Smile ($8 US) is just that gloss – too sweet &/or tasty to handle!
