If you are having a good skin day, then be sure to skip foundation. Even though I love foundation, I realize a lot of the love was unnecessary. I mean, I do think foundation is important, but sometimes, it ruins photographs, doesn’t match perfect, or at its worst, makes you look like you are wearing cake and butter frosting (I’d rather just eat it, you know?). So when you are having a good skin day, do skip foundation and see how you look and feel. I thought I was having a good skin day today, so I skipped foundation and did this FOTD. I thought I looked, dare I say, darn good without it as well, even though the discolouration on my chin is exposed, but you know – you and me, we have no secrets, lol. I used Too Faced Sweet Dreams Palette (I shall review this very soon, I promise) for eyeshadow and blush and for lips, I wore Tarina Tarantino Conditioning Lip Sheen in Floriculture, which is my “It” lipstick for fall.
For eyes, I used Benefit Stay, Don’t Stray Primer to prime, eyeshadows in order (all from Too Faced Sweet Dreams Palette; 1) Label Whore (excuse the name) in the crease 2) Copper Peony for the lid wash till the crease 3) Cop a Teal in the lower lash-line as an eyeliner and to intensify the crease. 4) Peach Fuzz as highlight. I also used MAC Blitz & Glitz (it has dried off, the pay off was not intense) to line the eyes and finished off with Annabelle Le Big Show Mascara. I patted on Cocoa Rose blush (also from the palette) lightly. As for the lipstick, I cannot deny my love for it, it is a beautiful shade for this time of year.
