100% Pure Healthy Skin Foundation with Super Fruits SPF 20 ($41 Cdn) is a satin/full coverage foundation. For those of you who are unfamiliar with 100% Pure, it is one of the few (big, bigger) brands which try to use all natural ingredients into cosmetics, making them all good for our skin (I like that part). Since the introduction is done, I would like to go ahead and dissect its claims.

{Rich and Creamy} Yes, very rich and creamy. The consistency is thicker than most foundations.

{Full Coverage makeup that conceals all imperfections} Full coverage, yes. It is definitely packed with pigments, but I still do need concealer or apply this foundation twice to cover a spot of discolouration on my skin. It can definitely be layered twice to get that effect, but one layer is not enough to get perfect skin effect, especially if you have skin with issues.

{Without looking or feeling heavy} Bang on, doesn’t feel heavy at all. In fact, feels like very light coverage.

{Crème to matted powder finish makes your skin velvet soft} Yes, the finish is aptly described. While it is indeed matte, it does not look cakey by any chance.

{Formula is enriched with antioxidant packed super fruits, vitamins and other skin nourishing nutrients.} Looking at the ingredients. Sure, I’ll take 100% Pure’s word on this claim.

{What do I think} I definitely dig the idea of natural cosmetics. I think this is a nice foundation, which uses dyes from fruits and vegetables instead of minerals or synthetics to get pigments. The satin coverage is also nice for everyday; not completely matte. As for the full coverage claims, I think it is a little off. It is medium coverage according to me. People with problematic skin should not look towards this one with hope. Although, I do think it does have properties that people with problematic skin will absolutely love. The SPF 20, no cakeyness makes it an excellent contender for an everyday foundation for people who love a satin finish. The longevity is not a major issue, but the coverage does fade down as the day passes. It does live up to the majority of its claims, according to me. But one issue I do have is the limited color selection; only 5 shades to choose from. Luckily the shade I chose was acceptable on my skin (Golden Peach for my NC 37-40 skintone) and the foundation definitely has color adjusting properties. Since this is the flagship liquid foundation for the brand, I wish it had more shades.

{Overall thoughts} It is a nice foundation, but maybe a little bit on the matte side for my taste. I prefer a glowing, luminous finish personally. If 100% Pure came up with a luminous finish foundation, I would definitely purchase that. Overall, this foundation is far from disappointing, but I still wish 100% Pure would come up with more shades and re-assess its coverage. I personally think it is a medium to full coverage foundation, not completely a full coverage foundation. The fans of natural make-up should definitely check this out because they may just fall in love granted they find their shade.

Me wearing 100% Pure Healthy Skin Foundation, no concealer.

100% Pure is a great brand, I know you reviewed some products too so I know for a fact that you’ll agree. I can’t wait to haul more! Another rec is the lip and cheek stain. I’ll review that shortly, that’s one of the best products I have come across…like ever! Really!!

I love this foundation and have found it two places in the US, Amazon and Skinandlife.com. You should be able to find it there! Enjoy!

i was really hoping there is some stocks here or a shipping that is delivered here in my country. I am envious of you guys availing such products in your designated locations. I am here in Asia and was relying on BB creams, I want to try this one out. :) I might even do a review on it upon first hand experience.
