Once upon a time, I was watching a Hindi soap (don’t judge!) and while it was extremely painful to watch, I couldn’t help but admire the skillful make-up of the actresses. They all have such dark, striking eyes and had their waterline lined so beautifully. Back in the day, I only owned a single eyeliner, a Dior one, which despite of being an extremely good eyeliner, was a no show on the waterline. As a make-up noob, I had such an issue finding out which eyeliners work on the waterline. I finally came across this gem on sephora’s website and I knew that very instant that I had to get this for myself. And like always, I did! :)
Guerlain undoubtedly is one of the top notch luxury brands out there and everything about their products screams quality and well, luxury. I can easily go ahead and say that Guerlain Terracotta Loose Powder Kohl Liner is a top notch product – for me, at least! It is a powdered kohl, so the application can get a bit messy, but other than that, I have no complain. Also to counter this, place a business card under your lashline. I am in awe of its amazing and unique packaging. Its applicator is unlike any other I have seen so far. It is the perfect “tight-lining” eyeliner as you don’t have to pull or tug your eyes. Just place the wand between your eyes, close them and swipe the wand along. The result is the most sultry, sexy, dark eyes! I have had this eyeliner for three years now, and I can say that it is still there. But the thing is, I don’t use it everyday. I simply don’t want to use it all up because I’d never want to throw away this beauty, even when it is empty. In short, I love this product, it is a beautiful piece of art and worth every penny. Get it if you like dark, sultry eyes.

My nani wld use powdered kohl to line her eyes when she was younger.. It was in quite a similar flask/vase – with a stick to apply in between the eyes – the older & much better version of instant smoky eyes.. it looks really nice, I'd get it – just for the vintage charm :D
