Hi guys, I am so sorry for not posting as much as I should. I’m just drifting apart from my usual interests, I don’t know why. Don’t worry, make-up is still my love, but I’m discovering other sides of me and also falling in love with other things. I really hope this only proves to be a good thing for the blog. Hmm, ha! Enough ranting. Let’s get started on what I found? Yup, that’s right, its Benefit Dallas Pressed Powder. I haven’t dismissed a blush and fallen in love with it like this since MAC Coppertone. You know, some blushes don’t quite impress you in the pan or when you swatch them. When you wear them, however, it is a whole new story. Benefit markets this as an all over face powder which can also be used on other parts of the face than just cheeks. I only like to use this as a blush, though! Its a subtle rose bronze color which gives you the best pink cheeks, in my opinion. Its just the most natural, bronzed out pink which is stunning for the day. Actually, it is stunning during anytime of the day, any day of the week and any week of the year. Can we bet that I am in love?
It just gives you a very natural, subtle sun-kissed rosy glow. All the other pink blushes I have tried, I love this one the best. It is real, it is gorgeous and it also smells great. Don’t get me wrong, I still have a good place in my heart for Sugarbomb and Pinkswoon, but this is the most wearable blush for me. I can’t believe I lived without it for so long. I can actually divide my life into two eras; pre and post Benefit Dallas. I honestly feel it is a must-have for all of us out there. Must have if you love blushes and have a billion others. Also, a must have if you don’t have any blushes and only want one.
Packaging is standard Benefit, in a cute square box and a little problematic brush. I personally don’t have issues with the brush, but I know a lot of people don’t like it. To each her own, I guess. Can I just mention again that this is a gorgeous color which won’t disappoint you.
