So yesterday, I was inspired by Freida Pinto to do a natural look. Even in natural looking looks, a lot of make-up goes. It is especially the case when we have to achieve a flawless complexion. Concealer is the answer, I tell you. Natural eyes take a lot of work, as well. So while we (ok, just me) are ranting how Ms. Pinto should add a swipe of gloss to her gorgeous face, I thought I’d do that myself. I did make a video, but something went wrong. I couldn’t do the foundation part and ended up doing the eyes/lips/cheeks thing. Should I put it up? I don’t know if I have the time to do that for another month or so, but I thought I’d share the breakdown with you guys.
Skin:
Lakme invisible finish foundation in 04 (Review here)
MUFE Full cover concealer in 10
MAC Studio finish concealer in NC 42
Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder (Review here)
MAC Fix+
Eyes:
MAC Painterly Paintpot (Review here)
MAC Jest eyeshadow – all over lid color
MAC Smolder eyeliner – for tight-lining the eyes and the waterline
Dior DiorShow Mascara (HG)
Cheeks:
MAC Coppertone blush – very underrated blush, I totally love it. (Swatch here)
Lips:
MAC Revenge is sweet lipgloss from the venomous villains collection (Swatch here)

Aww…u look so sweet girl! Very natural indeed, and yes the gloss does brighten up the whole look :)

P.S: Why don't you use flash so the pics come out brighter? Or u use your phone camera?

For pictures, i use ISO setting. Its supposed to bring out the colors in the make-up more vividly, but clearly, I look so pale and flat toned. Maybe the lighting of the room is too bright. I'll try it with flash next time and see how it turns out. Actually this is a really fancy camera my dad gave me (a hand me down, lol but I'll take it), I don't really know how to use it properly!

Ya flash will do that sometimes, esp at night. You just have to pick a good angle. Try covering the flash thingy with a tissue, it prevents too much brightness.
Hey if it's fancy, it doesn't matter if it's a hand me down :)
