I had heard a lot about NYX, so when www.cherryculture.com had its sale, I  took a plunge and ordered a bunch of NYX stuff. This was my first shot at the brand, so I was excited and curious. Now coming to the blush, it was highly pigmented, a beautiful shade of pink which should be universally flattering. I was pleasantly shocked to see just how pigmented the blush is – I’d even go on to say the color pay off is better than MAC or NARS blushes. It costs $6 US for 4g of product, which is a pretty good deal, if you ask me. The packaging is cute and practical enough.

The downside? The staying power is so low! The powder has no coherence on skin. If you set your make-up well enough, you should be OK, but don’t expect it to last the entire day.Another issue related to this is the fall out. I have wasted a lot of product in just swiping the blush on to my brush. The product is out of control and dusts all over your vanity :(

Will I repurchase? No, even though the colors are gorgeous.

Overall rating? B-

I'm dying to try nyx but i'm still a bit wary of online shopping :-/

I am DYING to get the coastal scents 88 warm palette though so that'll be my first try online, if at all :P

I'm sorry to hear they it didn't work out for you! I own a blusher from NYX and I'm quite happy with it, it usually lasts me all day… but I have to mention I always use a primer and either a Fix + from MAC or Vitamin C spritz from The Body Shop!
