Description: Peach Brown (matte). Recommendation: Great for contouring. It was recommended to me by Senior MAC Artist Vimi Joshi, she said it is great for the cheekbones. I have also tried using it as an eyeshadow and it works great. As seen on: The models at Rimzim Dadu, Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2010 showed highly contoured cheeks with a *little* help from MAC Coppertone Blush Picture courtesy of High Heel Confidential I won’t do a review on MAC blushes, because… Read more »

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed these glosses I got a while back – they are absolutely amazing. Say hello to Korres Cherry Lip Kisses. Aishwarya is my favorite actress in the whole wide world, so I am really  mad at myself for not doing a post on her on my blog so far. To be fair, she has not had many appearances lately where she had any dramatic make-up, rather she was sporting a signature look. I quite like the look, it is fresh and sophisticated. Here is my breakdown. Eyes: MAC’s Ricepaper e/s as an all over lid color. MAC’s Sushi Flower e/s… Read more »

Sugarbomb What it is:A “sugar rush flush” facial powder. What it does:Gimme some sugar—with sugarbomb! These four unique shades of rose, shimmering pink, soft plum, and peach blend together perfectly for a delicious “sugar rush flush.” Why I love it?  I have to be pretty honest, and say upfront that the only reason I fell in love with this is its appearance. Benefit’s blushes are just so freaking adorable. I know some people have issues with the packaging, but I… Read more »

Sonam Kapoor has got to be my favorite celeb these days. She is always so put-together – I always love her make-up. No wonder Loreal signed her. At a recent event for Loreal, Sonam looked absolutely stunning (as always). If I could look like anyone else in the world – it will have to be her. So I am always replicating her looks – only I have my trusted Club Monaco instead of her Chanel :/ I’m gonna do my… Read more »

Meet one of my favorite eyeshadows of all time – Stila’s Kitten. It is a classic shimmering nude pink with AMAZING pigmentation. It also has to be the most silky feeling eyeshadow, which blends extremely easily. I love the color – which is perfect for school or to pair with a bold lip, making this shadow extremely versatile. It works amazingly well as a high-lighter too. My only problem with this? It has a lot of fall-out. So whenever I… Read more »

A luxurious domed face powder with minerals, slowly baked to provide a dimensional yet natural-matte finish. Provides perfect low coverage. Use to set and fix foundation or as a touch-up throughout the day. Pros: Not cake-y like other MAC powders have felt on me. I use Medium-Deep for my NC 40 skin tone, the color blends fine. Great touch up for the day Does not dry up my skin Works amazingly well as a set up powder. I have never… Read more »

One fine day, I went shopping to window-shop the blues away. Then, I went into Lush to pick up an affordable treat that would be instantly rewarding. I had my usual in mind – a fresh face mask. For some odd reason, I wanted to look some more. Little did I know that I would meet the love of my life, Buffy the Backside Slayer.  During a trip to Brazil, product inventor Rowena was inspired by the beautiful women who… Read more »

I got bitten by really glittery bug tonight – The Lush Glitterbug Iridescent Soap. It is glittery alright – and makes me look like a grade 6 art project (in a good way, I hope). Sprinkling fairy dust all over can get rather messy, so we melted our glitter into this cocoa and shea butter massage bar. Rub it all over your collarbone and arms for a bluish mauve sparkle that lasts all night. You’ll draw their attention with the… Read more »

I absolutely adore Lush’s fresh face masks – almost all of them that I have tried thus far. Brazened Honey, also was no exception. “Refreshing herbs and fruit juice are blended with warming Ayurvedic herbs and spices. With ground almonds to polish and moisturizing honey, this blend leaves the skin vibrant and revitalized. Apply to Clean skin, avoiding the eye area. Leave for five to ten minutes, then rinse with warm water massaging gently. Keep chilled.” Its primary ingredients consist… Read more »

Ok, she maybe photoshopped to the nth – but that doesn’t take away from her ethereal looks. Her skin clearly stands out. To get a similar similar look, try the following products.
